Small Group PT Will Soon Replace FitFunBootCamp
From Saturday 3rd September 2022, FitFunBootCamp will make way for FitFun Small Group PT (SGPT). We are both saddened and excited at the same time making this announcement. We feel sad because we are drawing to an end, something we have given over a decade of our lives to. Through the years, we have created some fantastic lifelong memories with wonderful people that we will cherish forever. In addition, we have built a strong community that we respect and who have served us well. Embracing change is a challenging process for us all. But, change is a part of our lives, and as service providers, we must look at the broader picture and continue to work in a way that gives longevity to what we do.
We are excited because we believe this allows us to continue to serve our community differently. SGPT format gives us a platform to further personalise our fitness service and help meet additional health needs or goals. Another reason we are excited is the prospect of reaching new people and growing our community once more. Above all, we are excited to continue working with as many of you as possible and offer you a more bespoke service.
How will Small Group Personal Training Work In Streatham?
There will be three-morning slots for SGPT in Streatham at 8, 9, and 10 am. The sessions will be an hour-long, and we limit numbers to 6 clients.
SGPT shares many of the same qualities that we find in more traditional personal training sessions – guided practice, professional advice, and bespoke workout plans designed to help you achieve your goals and excel. However, as the name implies, you won’t be working with your trainer on a 1-to-1 basis – you’ll be working alongside others with similar goals or targets. You will also work with the same personal trainer over time on bespoke workout plans established in advance.
It is important to note that SGPT differs from traditional group classes (such as Zumba, pilates or circuit training ), as it’s much more intimate.
One important distinction is that with SGPT, you won’t necessarily be doing precisely the same exercise as the others in your group. Your PT will have adjusted your program to fit better what you’re aiming for and what you ultimately want to achieve. Thus FitFunActive SGPT offers benefits beyond your average fitness class, personalised based on individual needs. Each individual will have a phone consultation to outline training needs and specific fitness goals.
How much will it cost?
Small-Group PT is at a session rate of £25. A block of 10 sessions is £250. Time slots are on a first-come, first-served basis. You can book a place via the website, subject to availability. Alternatively, you can cement your place in blocks of 10. Advance notice of at least 24 hours is required ahead of any absence. So that particular day/slot can be filled.
What about my remaining credits?
FitFun credits can be used as usual up until Saturday 3rd September. Any remaining credits beyond this date can be added to your Small Group PT balance should you wish to take this opportunity. However, we can refund anyone who does not want to move forward beyond boot camp.
We are forever grateful for all of your support and patience throughout the changing seasons we have faced. With Covid and lockdowns, we met tough times, but we stuck together. Thank you all so much. It is our hope we can continue together through this change also.
